Marco Marzaduri: technology in practice
I am Marco Marzaduri (Marco Roberto Maria Marzaduri) and I work in computing: cybersecurity, digital forensics and web development. This site is my workbench: here I open up the machines we use every day, from the operating system to the circuit board, from the smartphone to the interface we touch with our fingers.
Every article starts from a concrete question, tackles it with a real example and ends with a summary worth keeping at hand. The goal is simple: understand how things work, to use them better and fix them when needed.
What I write about here
- Operating systems & Linux: shell, permissions, processes, boot and maintenance.
- Hardware & electronics: components, measurements, diagnosis, Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
- Mobile & IoT: smartphones, batteries, networks and home automation.
- UX & accessibility: interfaces that work for everyone.
Report – Rai 3
In 2017 I appeared in the Italian investigative programme Report (Rai 3), in the episode “Un italiano a Panama”. The excerpt is on my YouTube channel.
